Nonprofit Strategic Planning: Where Are You, Where Do You Want to Go, and Who Is Leading the Way?
In this session with the President of Nonprofit Management Solutions, LLC, Gail Merridew walks representatives in leadership positions with nonprofit organizations through the basics of identifying where a nonprofit organization fits in the nonprofit development lifecycle, determining which goals and objectives will lead to stronger capacity building for the organization, and identifying the board and staff “champions” who will ensure the plan is enacted appropriately and timely. She will also provide materials that will assist nonprofit representatives in performing these activities within their own organizations.

Identifying Stakeholders and Collaborators for Nonprofit Organizations
Gail Merridew, President of Nonprofit Management Solutions, LLC will discuss the various stakeholders and collaborators – including funders – nonprofit organizations want to attract and retain to adequately sustain their organizations for the future. This session is appropriate for nonprofit representatives with organizations in all phases of the nonprofit development lifecycle – from idea phase and start up through decline and reorganization. This will definitely be an “audience participation” event with facilitators and organization representatives helping each other identify those individuals and/or organizations that are desirable additions to their stakeholder/collaborator lists.

Creative Fundraising Ideas for Nonprofit Organizations
In this session, Gail Merridew of Nonprofit Management Solutions, LLC introduces fund development associated participants from nonprofit organizations to four individuals whose small, for-profit businesses have a nonprofit fundraising component with low or no cost to participating nonprofits. With her will be Andy Silver from “I Sold It” (a value-added, eBay seller), Chip Lankert of CLC Adventures (where “no matter what your cause, travel is the ultimate fundraiser”), Ernie Rogers of Black Tie Benefits (auctioneer extraordinaire), and Rick Williams of the EGA Tour (no, not PGA – EGA!).
